How To Get Answers to Amiga Technical Questions
Please understand that we here at the Amiga
Web Directory do not have the resources to answer technical
questions. Here are some possibilities you may wish to investigate:
- You may post your questions in one of the many Usenet newsgroups
covering the Amiga. Amiga experts with a wide variety of experience
regularly monitor these areas! See our list of Amiga-oriented
newsgroups at http://www.cucug.org/newsgroups.html.
- Canada's National Amiga (http://www.nationalamiga.com/)
founder and all-around Good Guy, Greg Scott has volunteered to help
with your technical questions. Contact him at gscott@nationalamiga.com.
If your question concerns Amiga hardware, check out their wonderfully
comprehensive listing of technical hardware documentation files at:
http://www.nationalamiga.com/technical.shtml
- You may also ask a volunteer Amiga expert user, Chris Aymar, for
help. Chris has graciously volunteered to help with these types of
questions. His "Amiga Clinic" web page is located at:
http://www.concentric.net/~cwa107/
- Amiga Format has volunteered to answer questions via phone on
Tuesdays at this number: 01225 442244 (this is a call to the
UK). You may also reach them via email at either amformat@futurenet.co.uk or
bvost@futurenet.co.uk. or
visit their website's chat room at:
http://www.futurenet.com/amiganet/classified/forum_frameset.htm
- Yet, another possible source of help could be a local dealer. An up-to-date
listing of Amiga dealers can be found at:
http://www.amiga.de/e-nofr.html
Good luck finding answers to your technical questions!
