Commodore News

PC with built in Commodore 64 - Web Computers International, a Dutch company, will be showing off a new portable computer called the Web.It Internet computer in August. It's a portable computer that runs Windows 3.1, DOS 7 and comes with a C64 emulator, and it's internet ready. It outputs to a NTSC or PAL TV screen. It uses the AMD ELAN SC405 for a CPU, and has 16mb of memory, floppy drive, 2mb of flash memory, and a 56kbps modem. It also ships with some Netscape and Lotus Software. I'm told to expect it to have a price of about $400.

C64s v2.52 - C64 Emulator for MS-DOS machines. Now with a new owner and new version.
CCS64 v1.09 - Shareware C64 emulator for MS-DOS, SUN-Sparc and Dec-Alpha.
Comeback 64 v0.95 - A new freeware C64 emulator for DOS that includes the source code.
Emulation Net - Commodore 64 - Page devoted to all Commodore 64 emulators for the Macintosh. Includes Power64 v2.2, MacFrodo v4.1.6, VICE v2.3, Mac64 v0.4, and SIDPlay v2.0.
Frodo v4.1 - By Christian Bauer, a C64 emulator for Amiga, BeOS, MacOS, Acorn/RiscOS, Unix, Win95 and WinNT.
High Voltage C64 CD - CD full of software and SID tunes for emulators.
MagiC64 v1.81 - A fast C64 emulator for the Amiga by Michael Kramer.
J64 v0.9 - A C64 emulator for Java by Thomas Gruber. If you have a Java capable web browser you can even run a C64 in the web page!
Pfau Zeh v0.8 - Vic-20 emulator for Linux and Windows.
Power64 v2.2.1 - Shareware C64 emulator for PowerMacs. Limited to 10 minutes of use unless registered.
SerialBusEmu - Emulates C64 serial bus devices on an Amiga.
